Peter Sellers [Peter Sellers]
(1925–80) an English comedy actor. His skill at copying other people’s voices in an amusing way first became well known through the radio programme ↑Goon Show. By the 1960s he had become a major comedy film star, best known for playing three different roles in Dr Strangelove (1963) and for playing Inspector Clouseau in the ↑Pink Panther series of films.
